Access : The Museum tries to meet the needs of visitors with disabilities within the restrictions imposed by our old listed building.  We have wheelchair access to the two downstairs rooms of the Museum and to the Chapel, though there is a low step and threshold into each building. At present we do not have a toilet with disability access.

Catering : The Museum has no catering facilities of its own but Stewards are happy to suggest where meals can be obtained. A ‘Where to Eat’ guide can be found in the Browse This Section - Weardale - of the  Durham Dales website.
